Great success for our wines, "Figari" Valpolicella Classico Superiore Doc 2015 and "Guglielmi di Jago 10 years" Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Doc 2007 in the Decanter published in May.
The British journalist Michael Garner in the special issue on the Amarone has rated our Guglielmi di Jago 2007 as the best one among all those tasted awarding it the score 95, which places our wine at the top of the ranking.
In the tasting dedicated to the Valpolicella Superiore, our Figari 2015 is among the "highly recommended" wines with a score of 91, winning the favors of Michael Garner, who was among the judges and reports it in his TOP THREE with 95 points by underlining the elegant, flexible and slightly austere style.
This is a prestigious award for Guglielmi di Jago that highlights the goodness and the foresight of the project conceived in the Nineties by the late Professor Roberto Ferrarini in order to enhance the Amarone, with a long aging in wood as in its tradition.
But also a recognition for the Valpolicella Classico Superiore, conceived as a wine strongly linked to the tradition of Valpolicella and our oenology.
