It was the hotel and restaurant Sole - La Fenice in Tremosine sul Garda, located on a panoramic position overlooking Lake Garda, over Limone, the setting where the tasting dinner "Discovering Valpolicella" took place.
During the evening we proposed the Valpolicella Classico Doc 2018 matched with venison carpaccio served together with mashed potatoes from the Gresta valley, dressed with Tremosine oil, then the "Figari" Valpolicella Classico Superiore Doc 2016 along with a potato roll filled with roe mousse with mountain butter, “Jago” Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Doc 2015 matched with macaroni with braised hare, and finally Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Docg 2015 with grilled venison ribs on a taleggio cheese and truffle fondue. Last but not least, “Francesca Finato Spinosa” Recioto della Valpolicella Classico Docg 2013 concluded the wonderful dinner, paired with a cream with Keiser pears blended at Recioto, indeed.
