PIANOGRANDE: THE FIGARI VINEYARD IN MARANO NOW REPLANTED
We proceeded with the replanting of the "Pianogrande" vineyard, in the Figari estate, near Cà Albasini.
Valpolicella, June 04th, 2019
We proceeded with the replanting of the “Pianogrande” vineyard, in the Figari estate, near Cà Albasini. The vineyard was replaced, once again with the Guyot system, with the aim of planting 4,000 vines per hectare (2.50 m x 1.00 m is the planting layout). We continue to focus on the traditional varieties of the Valpolicella; that's why we planted Corvina Veronese. Now it’s time for the structure of the new vineyard with poles, wires, rods. Pianogrande is a new planting for producing grapes with the usual goal: quality wines that respond to tradition.
