Jago cru vineyards
The Jago vineyard, one of the most famous cru vineyards in the Valpolicella Classica, is close to the Villa and the winery. It's made up of 6 plantations:
“Ora”, a small vineyard below the road climbing to Colle Masua hill; it's surrounded by olive trees;
“Pian dei Vai”, a vineyard of almost 2 hectares, sorrounded by a natural amphitheatre of fields planted with vines and bordered by the typical stone walls;
“Piste”, a vineyard near the garden and the Villa; it's about two terraces bordered by olive trees;
“Vegron”, a vineyard with a particular row orientation, following the hill form;
“Giardinopiano”, the first vineyard to be planted with the guyot growing system, in 1990, in order to improve the grape quality;
